What You'll Do

The Salesforce Developer works in conjunction with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to build declarative solutions to meet business requirements. This role will be required to use Salesforce best practices to implement new features on the Salesforce platform and perform custom complex configurations with a heavy focus on declarative methods such as flow, process builder and Salesforce CPQ. Salesforce declarative developers may be called on to assist with activities like scoping and documentation when appropriate. Declarative developers will also be responsible for maintaining platform health / optimization and triaging technical support escalations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Experienced Salesforce resource to assist in Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud configuration, complex declarative development and system integrations.

• Work closely with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into logical technical requirements that best leverage the Salesforce platform and integrated apps.

• Work with Solution Architects to deliver build of minor enhancement, technical debt maintenance, net new and project declarative builds.

• Configure, test, document and maintain out of the box and / or custom solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce platform.

• Participate in technical design sessions; collaborate with Solution Design Architects and create technical solution documentation aligned with business requirements and objectives

• Follow standard development lifecycle activities within the SAFE Agile process

• Participate in technical reviews as needed for projects and non-project work

• Provide level of effort estimates and work breakdown structures for assigned tasks

• Review, analyze impact and recommend new product and technical capabilities from Salesforce related to SFDC releases

• Triage and resolve production defects as assigned

• Use automated deployment tools to promote changes between environments

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Sr. Apex Developers and Technical Business Partners to ensure quality work is executed according to requirements

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience configuring and supporting the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud and various AppExchange solutions.
• Configuration and development experience using Flow, Process Builder, Lightning Components and other and other declarative programmatic solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Ability to perform automated and manual testing as needed
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick)
• Experience with full lifecycle development and familiarity with SAFE agile
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
• Advocate of Salesforce best practices, design principles and development methodologies
• Ability to articulate process changes and improvements up and down the organization
• At ease in leveraging virtual resources to drive projects to on time completion
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills able to work in a global team setting

• Ability to work independently and think creatively
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to be challenged
• Team player who is willing to support multiple business processes
• Experience configuring and supporting DocuSign CLM and/or Traction Complete within the Salesforce Platform
• Working knowledge of integration tools such as Dell-Boomi
• Familiarity with Marketing Integrations such as Marketo or Marketing Cloud
• Experience using deployment tools such as AutoRABIT, Copado, Gearset or similar
• Knowledge of GIT and VSCode
• Ability to write and understand test classes for Salesforce
• Experience with Workbench and other Salesforce data query tools
• Salesforce.com Certification is preferred
