About the Role

Our client is seeking a junior to mid-level portrait artist for a short-term, remote project. The task involves transforming an old, black and white newspaper portrait image into a clear, detailed drawing. This is an ideal opportunity for an artist looking to showcase their skills in portrait recreation and enhancement.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret the provided black and white newspaper portrait
• Redraw the portrait, enhancing clarity and detail
• Maintain the essence and characteristics of the original subject
• Communicate effectively regarding project progress and any questions

Requirements

• Proven skills in portrait drawing, particularly in recreating images from photographs
• Experience in working with low-quality or aged source material
• Ability to enhance and clarify details while maintaining likeness
• Proficiency in relevant drawing tools and techniques (digital or traditional)
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills to complete the project within 1-2 days
