Financial Manager

🟩 KEY OBJECTIVES

• Forecast, plan, organize, coordinate, and control the financial and accounting activities of the company
• Issue, implement, and update work procedures within the financial department as needed
• Organize the document flow within the financial department and ensure compliance by subordinates (if applicable)
• Set execution and completion deadlines for financial and accounting documents and ensure adherence by subordinates
• Oversee inspections conducted by specialized agencies
• Collaborate with superiors to establish the fiscal policy at the organization level
• Ensure the implementation of the fiscal policy within the organization
• Manage the relationship with the organization's auditor (if applicable)
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports required by accounting legislation or company management
• Conduct analyses and propose changes to the business model: overhead calculation, cost per project, cost per client, profitability per resource, and other indicators directly reflecting the business model impacting the value chain
• Manage and supervise the company's cash flow, including bank commitments and refinancing if necessary
• Create a structured company-wide bonus system
• Prepare monthly budget executions and present them in the operational board (P&L, Cash-Flow, etc.)
• Calculate the company's monthly financing needs and propose solutions to meet agreed parameters (if necessary)
• Calculate risk indicators for financial investments and budget adjustments.
• Define contractual terms: costs, payment terms for various supplier contracts
• Centralize financial information to assist in making quick decisions
• Analyse and implement methods and strategies for cost optimization (supplier contracts, tax optimization)
• Stay continuously informed about the latest legal requirements and accounting practices regarding:
• Tax optimisation
• Profit maximization
• Macroeconomic trends and impacts
• Currency market fluctuations
• Investment opportunities

🟩 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Know and respect the vision, mission, and values of Logarithmic

• Maintain constant communication with colleagues and company collaborators

• Ensure the accuracy of information provided to all personnel in all departments of the company, as well as to all partners, clients, and suppliers

• Prepare monthly budget executions and present them in operational boards

• Prepare the following year's budget with sponsors and department managers (in November of the current year) and propose it for approval to the strategic board

• Implement, manage, and verify the use of budget, expense, and budget adjustment tools in relation to budget managers

• Responsible for implementing, managing, and controlling the ERP (financial) and managerial reporting

• Provide business case arguments in financial control situations - supporting accounting decisions with optimal business solutions that comply with the tax code (e.g., decisions regarding deductible expenses)

• Monthly control of budgets implemented with budget managers

• Maintain real-time and forecasted financial information:

• Real-time and forecasted cash flow

• Payable, collectable, collection schedules

• P&L

• Dividend forecasts, dividend calendar related to financial performance
