SQA Automation Lead

Axiado is seeking an exceptional Software QA Leader to join our growing team! As the founding member of the SQA organization at Axiado, the job seeker will have the opportunity to define test architecture, test methodology, automation framework, test infrastructure and to influence the product requirements / design decisions from a quality perspective. This position will report directly to the VP of Software Engineering and is a challenging opportunity that plays an important role in shaping Axiado’s full stack software solution.

• Take ownership of Axiado’s QA & Test Automation efforts, including test architecture, test methodology, as well as test infrastructure
• Hire top-notch engineers, lead, mentor, and coach team members, build an excellent quality engineering team
• Collaborate with rest of the software organization to meet our commitment of delivering high quality, highly secure software solutions
• Build and maintain a best-in-class automated testing environment which will reduce regression issues and improve time to market
• Monitor all QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identify areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes
• Work closely with cross-functional / cross-geo teams in realizing product delivery goals
• Provide necessary support for project management by creating schedule based on team velocity / capacity

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Senior QA leader with 10+ years of experience in testing, including at least 5+ years of experience in leading global software QA and automation teams
• Must have experience in Embedded systems, Firmware & Device testing
• Experience in testing BMC or Data Center Servers or TPM or SmartNIC is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience in Python and shell scripting
• Experience in architecting, implementing and leading large scale test automation development
• Hands-on experience in defining test topology and building test infrastructure suitable for large server farms

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience leading software engineering projects or teams
• Hands on experience with FPGA, chip bring-up, etc.
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum and software release planning processes
• Experience working at a semiconductor company
