Role overview:

Through word of mouth alone, Gather has spread to more than 10,000 remote-first companies, from tech startups to law firms to multiple members of the Fortune 500.

However, it’s become clear that we need to move beyond self-serve in the next stage of our business. Our product and market are entirely new, so the GTM motion of getting big companies to successfully run their whole operations on Gather is complex, novel, and critical for our success. As a founding GTM for LATAM, you will be responsible for helping us figure it out.

This role is for hungry, creative, and entrepreneurial people. It is not for people who prefer a straight line to success, are afraid to roll up their sleeves, or need many resources to succeed. The work will be hard and, at times, deeply frustrating but also tremendously rewarding.

Where you will make an impact:

  • Flex between what might be traditionally considered sales, success, implementation, and solutions engineering, depending on what matters most. Unlike in scaled orgs where people get specialized, you will need to work full-stack from qualifying a new customer to taking the first demo to implementation to handling expansion & renewals.
  • Be creative about crafting the “art” of our GTM motion today. Examples include helping big customers figure out how to set up their few hundred-person Gather office, networking your way to the right decision-maker, and figuring out what a great demo looks like by running hundreds of them yourself.
  • Turning the “art” into a repeatable “science” that we can use to scale the GTM teams. If all works out, there will be opportunities to lead the new teams.
  • Be a significant strategic contributor to everything else GTM, bringing forth market feedback to inform our ICP, use cases, pricing, messaging, and more.

What you bring:

  • 4+ years experience in sales or CS at SaaS companies
  • Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
  • Hunger, with an extreme sense of urgency and initiative in your work
  • Creativity. You can think quickly on your feet, are strategic in GTM, and pick up product and customer issues quickly
  • Entrepreneurial. You’re not afraid of ambiguity and thrive in environments where you must do something from nothing with few resources
  • You’re a great conversationalist and customer-obsessed
  • Strong interest in our product & problem space
  • Deeply motivated to build something great, ahead of money/quotas

US Salary Range

At Gather, compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $115,000 - $140,000 annually and we encourage candidates outside of this salary range to apply.

Base pay is one part of the total package provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role will be eligible for a stock reward reflective of an early-stage startup.
