The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an EHS Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Ensure compliance with local Health & Safety regulations & global guideline as a EHS engineer of the company.
This position is required to have knowledge of EHS regulations and be able to cooperate with Country Governance Leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing the role of safety engineer under the Occupational Safety & Health Act as well as SAPA (Sever Accident Punishment Act) of Korea.
  • Responsible for EHS management system.
  • Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Provide EHS guidance and compliance permits update to support operation.
  • Planning and progress of the annual EHS Plans & Training programs.
  • Coordinate EHS training, EHS audits and maintain EHS records.
  • Implement required sampling and health examination and promotion program.
  • Establishes and cultivates a network of local support to facilitate completion of assignment.
  • Incident investigation and prevention activities.
  • Rugular inspection and record retention.

Qualification Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar EHS role.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • English skills to speaking and writing.
  • Need to Industrial safety engineer certification for appointed by the Ministry of Labor.
  • Knowledge of Env. Lab review and Permit related work.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
