Position: Trade Finance Operations Analyst

Reporting to: Head of CSD

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview

Responsible for the day-to-day processing requirements of the function. Performs various structured routine operational tasks in a standard work environment. Handles medium complex processes. Understands the mission and vision of the company and how the department contributes to that. Works under supervision, receives instruction, guidance and direction from a senior team member. Acts in line with ING rules and policies.

Job Responsibilities

As a Processor, your tasks and responsibilities will principally be:

• Day-to-day Processing related to Trade Finance (documentary and non-documentary)
• Handles Local Application/Local Settlements/Clients in Local language from end to end (Letter of Credit or Documentary Collection, Guarantee/Standby Letter of Credit, Export and Import bills).
• Liaising and handling offshore hub operations as well as Front Office, Client and all other relevant parties and ensure smooth processing of transactions.
• Preparation of regular and ad hoc basis local regulatory reporting requirements.
• Ensure that the Bank’s and relevant regulatory procedures and controls are adhered to.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
• Understand roles, authorities, responsibilities and obligations of compliance and conduct their business accordingly.
• Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and manager customer requirements.

What we're looking for:

To be considered for this role, the applicant would ideally possess the following pre-requisites:

• 1-3 years of work experience in Trade Finance/Loans/Guarantee Operations from Wholesale banking.
• Fluent in English and Korean, both verbally and written.
• Ability to communicate well and work with people in different department at all levels.
• Willingness to learn and participate in activities.
• Open minded and eagerness to challenge.
• University degree.
• Strong ability MS Office (Excel).
