Data Center Security and Compliance Officer I

Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the team with security projects, processes, audits, and datacenters.

Responsibilities

• Supports the rollout of information security processes across all sites in scope
• Reviews security and business continuity processes (e.g., access card key management process) within the IBX and identifies opportunities for process improvement
• Evaluate service providers related with physical security (e.g., security guards, access control, CCTV, and etc)

Project Management

• Supports security and business continuity projects across all sites in scope (e.g. security construction, security certifications)

Support to Datacenter Operations

• Tracks key performance indicators for physical security and business continuity
• Provides day to day support to Datacenter Operations Security & Compliance

Compliance and Audit Support

• Supports security audits (internal and external) across all sites in scope
• Be the SME (subject matter of expert) to backup for operational compliance team

Data Management

• Collects security data collection and analysis
• Definition and maintenance of security-related documents

Training

• Coordinates and schedules security training across all sites in scope
• Supports the development of training materials

Systems Support

• Possesses hands-on knowledge of security systems
• Provides security systems support and directs basic installations for Datacenter Operations

Design Engineering

• Implements existing design methods and standards for new datacenter design engineering efforts
• May recommend alterations to design, development, implementation and analysis to improve quality of products, new technologies, procedures, and/or efficiencies
• Shadows manager or peers on initial drawing reviews of both internal and cross-functional designs

Requirements:

• Typically 4+ years of experience in physical security at critical facilities
• Proven experience in managing physical security systems
• Experience in data centers is a plus
• Proficiency in English
