NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product Team drives the roadmaps and development of products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our business engagement, operations, and engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions for our clients or users. The product portfolio is aligned around critical NBCU functions such as Content/Title Management, Data & Analytics, Scheduling & Distribution, and Content Sales.
As a part of the Product team, you will be responsible for several products in your functional area. You will be in communication with clients, internal product development teams, and external partners on activities related to the full life cycle of products, including product roadmaps, development process, deliverables, and timelines. You will lead grooming sessions, execute product demos, and provide updates to product, technology, and client leadership. You will be an expert in your area’s product features, capabilities and functionality. You will contribute to multi-product initiatives or programs. You will be a mentor to product specialists.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage roadmaps, adoption of partner products and their integration into NBCU’s distribution ecosystem
- Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders, translate requirements into well documented product features
- Lead grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories
- Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA, ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that are clear and can be measured
- Collaborate across teams and with architecture, product management and solutions leaders, to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of our clients
- Drive the implementation of new product features to increase quality and reach of products
- Lead product demoes, ensure training and onboarding material is documented
- Assist with deployments and help resolve in-market issues and ensure SOPs/SLAs are commonly agreed upon
- Influence our clients and shape their overall strategy
- Represent outcome-centric and user-centric approach in discovery meetings.
- Review technical specifications, architecture, and networking plans, and act as the Product SME in security, scalability, and infrastructure design discussions.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 10+ years of agency advertising and/or in-house film, television, or commercial design experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience as design director
- Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong collaborator that works well under pressure in a matrix organization
- Strong understanding of and passion for overall design trends, campaign design landscape, workflows, and emerging technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and Acrobat
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates excellent design skills and capability
- Willingness to travel with short notice and on weekends
- Willingness to work flexible hours including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program
