The Business Analyst provides business analysis and project support for revenue assurance and collections activities to deliver efficient and effective service to the firm and external clients. This role will facilitate strategies to ensure effective and optimal use of resources and minimization of delinquencies while reducing revenue discrepancies.

The two principal owners of JGS, Kenneth Hager and Vincent Hager, represent in excess of 40 carriers both national and regional. We recognize the complexities and demands of a comprehensive insurance program for our clients. We realize that very often cost is a decisive factor in determining your selection of an insurance carrier. Our growth path includes increased geographic representation across the U.S., expanded client value propositions and new lines of insurance to meet the needs of evolving lifestyles, business risks, and healthcare funding.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Performs daily root cause analysis of systematic process completion and articulates any identified issues that require assistance in resolving.
  • Monitors daily transaction completing, error task assignment/verification and report generation completion.
  • Assists with defining and executing test cases for code and product changes pending implementation.
  • Performs daily reporting and processing of ACH payment returns.
  • Completes daily reporting and processing of credit/debit card chargebacks and retrievals.
  • Researches transactional data to identify anomalies and facilitate process improvement efforts.
  • Develop and maintain an escheatment process for undelivered refunds to insurance customers.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant years’ experience considered.
  • Experience with use case development and testing coordination.
  • Knowledge of process analysis and process efficiencies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
