WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for a Brand Marketing Specialist based out of Manila, Philippines for Jordan Sport. This role will lead on-ground executions and experiences aligned to Jordan brand strategy across our three fields of play (Streetwear, Sport, Energy). Ensuring flawless functional and cross-functional execution for the Jordan Brand in the Philippines, with a focus on Manila as a key city and Sport as a key field of play (FOP).

This candidate needs to have a deep understanding of the Jordan Brand Consumer in Manila and an ability to craft functional marketing plans to best drive brand awareness, consumer connection, and sales. This person needs to have excellent communication skills, expertise in on-ground brand executions and experiences, the ability to work cross-functionally, and effective decision-making. Additionally, operating with integrity, acting responsibly, and proactive ownership of the brand in their marketplace.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

This candidate will be partnering with both APLA Geography, Southeast Asia & India (SEA&I)Territory, and Manila City (Jordan & Nike) marketing teammates to deliver seasonal marketing campaigns (prioritizing the Sport Field of Play). You’ll lead on-ground executions and experiences connected to key products, moments, and stories from brief to on-the-ground execution aligned to our APLA Jordan Brand Sport priorities. You’ll collaborate and align various internal & external stakeholders across the local marketing teams and agency partners to drive Jordan brand awareness, distinction, and connection with our consumers. This person will mine consumer insights and market trends related to sport, develop seasonal go-to-market campaigns across our digital and physical consumer touch points (Nike App, SNKRS, Jordan Manila, Marketplace Partners), and share plans and information with World Headquarters’ teammates to ensure sharp alignment to key priorities. Success will be measured on increases to brand strength and distinction, market share growth (specific to sport), traffic to owned platforms and channels, and sell-through of key seasonal products.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

This candidate will report directly into the APLA Senior Brand Manager of Jordan Sport, as part of the APLA Geography Jordan Brand Marketing team and dotted line into the Manila Country Marketing Manager. They’ll work both across business functions and within the function of marketing. Partnering cross-functionally with marketplace, merchandising, communications, sports marketing, and catalyst teammates in the Philippines, and the APLA Geography. Additionally, they’ll work within their function across digital, retail, media, creative, and FOP teammates to best bring seasonal stories to life while fueling consumer demand and establishing brand distinction and connection with our consumers.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in brand building/marketing, consumer marketing or a related field including cross-functional business acumen.
  • Genuine connection and deep understanding of Jordan Brand across sport, streetwear, energy. With a passion and interest for growing Jordan Brand sport (with a focus on basketball) in your market.
  • A team-first mindset & passion for Jordan Brand, Basketball, and sneaker culture.
  • Ability to think strategically, work cross-functionally, communicate effectively, multi-task, budget management, and work with both internal and external partners (agencies).
  • Minimum business-level proficiency in both English and Tagalog: both written and verbal
