Job Description

  • Automating and orchestrating builds, deployments, and releases (CI/CD) across multiple target environments (cloud and on-premises).
  • Collaborate with development team (Developers, QAs, and relevant stakeholders) to enable seamless deployment, automation, and management of code, build artefacts, and infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure automation (using tools like terraform, chef, puppet etc.), including planning, testing and development of the same.
  • Ensuring of high availability, high performance and optimized resource utilization for software infrastructure and its components.
  • Troubleshoot software infrastructure issues and getting them resolved.
  • Supporting and maintaining Azure DevOps installation.
  • VM Setup (cloud and on-prem) and configuration.
  • Create, manage, enhance, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
  • Networking and firewall configuration
  • Proxy server configurations
  • Supporting various development workflows
  • Deploying product on various environments
  • Create and update technical and design documentation including reports, whenever required.
  • Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and leveraging them to further enhance software infrastructure.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers working in DevOps stream, as well as, managing them whenever required.

Essential Competencies

  • Overall 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Good in oral and written communication skills and able to take part in meetings and discussions.
  • Proactive personality and able to work autonomously.
  • Good team player.
  • The ability to work to agreed deadlines.
  • Should be a detailed oriented.
  • Ability to work at detailed and abstract levels.
  • Ability to guide junior team members.
  • Self-learner.
  • Track record of delivering commitments on time and quality.
  • Good leadership quality.

Requirements

Skills Required

  • Scripting language (Power Shell/Azure CLI) 3-4 Yrs
  • Experience with Azure Cloud computing (IaaS, and PaaS) and Azure DevOps 3-4 Yrs
  • Deploying SaaS-based applications to Azure 3-4 Yrs
  • Source control (Git) 3-4 Yrs
  • Experience in developing CI/CD workflows (preferably using Azure DevOps, YAML) 3-4 Yrs
  • Network design principles and implementation, including TCP/IP, traffic routing, DNS, VLAN, etc. 1-2 Yrs
  • Visual Studio/ VS Code 3-4 Yrs
  • Experience with at least one of the following tools: Terraform/Bicep/ARM Templates 2-4 Yrs
  • Azure Entra ID & AD (B2C) 2-4 Yrs
  • SQL - 3-4 Yrs
