- Travel to various jobsites to obtain necessary survey data and jobsite information.
- Gather field survey data to determine precise location & measurements of points, elevations, and contours, etc.
- Process survey data, ensuring compliance to applicable regulations and professional standards.
- Perform simple surveying calculations, deed research, deed plotting and map checks.
- Perform quality control checks of plats and drawings prepared by other technicians.
- Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- 6+ years progressive field and office experience in route survey projects, boundary analysis, topographic surveys, DTM projects, and construction surveys using GPS survey techniques.
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office, Auto CAD/Civil 3D and/or Micro Station.
- Trimble survey equipment experience preferred.
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proven work history, strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
