The recently established Financial Crime Risk & Prevention function will further accelerate SEB Kort’s deployment of financial crime prevention capabilities to continuously meet regulatory expectations and to become a leader in fighting financial crime.

SEB Kort Bank AB is a fully owned subsidiary of SEB. We offer credit cards and other payment solutions and services to both businesses and consumers. SEB Kort’s legal team consists of a Nordic team with 13 lawyers of which nine are based in Stockholm. SEB Kort’s lawyers work in close co-operation with the business providing legal advice to the business in Sweden and our branches in Denmark, Norway, and Finland.

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced manager to lead our KYC & Sanction team and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance within the Financial Crime Prevention area.

You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing a group of 12 employees located in Stockholm!

You and the team are responsible for:

• Performing customer due diligence /ongoing due diligence for Corporate and Private individuals

• Performing PEP Investigations

• Performing HR3C Investigations

• Provide recommendations for managing the risk of the customers.

• Handle potential Sanction hits.

• Management of guidelines, process maps etc

• Taking ownership of process improvement-related tasks within the team.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

• Passion about AML/CTF and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent leadership skills

• Experience, preferable from the financial industry or a regulatory authority

• Experience in building networks and working in close collaboration and understanding with stakeholders.

• Great language skills, and is fluent in written and spoken English and at least in one of the Nordic languages.

• Relevant academic degree.
