What we do

We are looking for a strong business leader to help lead our fast-growing business in the Korean market. You will be responsible for driving our business strategy and growth, without compromising on innovation or our Company culture. This person will also have the proven ability to inspire and empower their teams to stretch themselves to achieve ever greater goals and to collaborate closely both locally and globally. You will also mentor and lead our business teams to build consultative business relationships and ensure long-term client success.

The person is a strategic business leader – with a strong ability to identify and execute on growth opportunities, to shape and influence how the markets think about our industry and company and can foster the most senior, strategic relationships in the respective regions. This person will be motivated by a desire to make advertising work better for brands, publishers and consumers in those markets.

They must have a high aptitude for and comfort level with working in complex business and technology environments along with a strong leadership and business acumen.

What you’ll do

  • Will be the external and internal figure head for the TTD Korean business
  • Strong Cultural leadership across the whole Korean business
  • Develops and presents strategic and attack plans to achieve revenue goals.
  • Own and develop relationships with senior levels of stakeholders within target accounts.
  • Working with the team to define and lead an effective upstream sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with other functional leaders to identify growth opportunities, solve business challenges and drive efficiency across the organization
  • Ensure effective team management through mentoring and development of the team
  • Strong contributor and driver in creating an environment that inspires the Sales organization to perform effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate on a global scale on client portfolios
  • Be a representative for TTD panels are various industry events and conferences
  • Contributes meaningfully and regularly to emerging product gaps through spend blocker contributions.
  • Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, & engineering

Who you are

  • 15years + of experience in online advertising in outbound sales. At least 7 years in a team management capacity
  • You are able to bring together the Korean culture and knowledge along with a global business mindset.
  • Proven track record of working within the Korean region and strong relationships in the regional markets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to speak to C-Level clients and establish client relationships
  • Proven track record of driving and exceeding revenue expectations trough a history of sales leading experience
  • Strong management and leadership skills through a collaborative team approach.
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles.
  • Proactive in managing and development talent as well as talent attraction
  • Ability to navigate difficult and ambiguous situations and inspires others to positivity
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, executive team and industry groups.
  • Execute (and coach others to execute) timely in fast-paced environment through effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
