About the Role:
This role supports our Indian team while reporting into a leader based in the United Kingdom with a dotted line to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition. This role covers the full spectrum of HR activities beginning with new hire onboarding through to the end of the employee lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include talent acquisition, implementing HR policies and procedures, handling employee relations, creating a flawless employee experience, managing performance reviews, retention, benefits, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and offboarding. Additionally, you will ensureour office is running smoothly,that the environment is positive, and that employees are productive. This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune.
General Responsibilities:
Foster a positive and productive workplace culture
Monitor engagement and recommend corrective actions where appropriate
Build relationships with employees to understand challenges, frustrations, or business risks
Act as the subject matter expert for Regional Employment Law, advising leadership on best practices and risk mitigation
Address employee grievances and manage conflict resolution
Exhaustive approach on performance improvement plans and HR policy management
Conduct investigations and resolve issues in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Maintain robust system to extend offers, prepare contracts, and retain documentation in line with company process
Maintain a high degree of personal confidentiality and manage systems to ensure that all HR and personal data is processed and stored in line as per laws
Onboard new employees, ensuring timely and accurate inputs into systems and benefit enrollment
Review, recommend modifications, and update HR policies and procedures.
Conduct audits to ensure HR practices are compliant with internal and external requirements.
Partner with Associate Director of People & Culture to conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive pay structures.
Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance and leave policies.
Prepare and present reports on HR metrics, activities and trends to senior management.
Use data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategic initiatives.
Partner with InfoSec & Finance teams to ensure all audit requests are completed in a timely manner
Assess benefit offerings and recommend improvements
Talent Acquisition:
Sourcing talent, screen resumes, schedule interviews and participate in the interview and screening process.
Implement effective local recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Collaborate with department heads to forecast hiring needs and create job descriptions.
Support HR teams in promoting best practice and efficient methodologies in management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues impacting employee life cycle
Performance Management:
Manage performance appraisal process in India
Monitor and implementperformance management cycle, partnering with, supporting, and educating leadership and managers throughout the process
