About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Product Manager (TPM) to take ownership of our Pharmacy Management System, a sophisticated platform built on top of our existing Pharmacy System. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, product management skills, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery. As a TPM at LifeMD, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and optimization of our Pharmacy Management System, ensuring it meets the needs of our pharmacists, healthcare providers, and patients. This platform acts as middleware that integrates our pharmacy operations with all other systems, featuring a comprehensive API to seamlessly connect with our telehealth platforms and support secure data management for financial systems.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive product vision and strategy for the Pharmacy Management System
  • Align product objectives with LifeMDโ€™s overarching business goals
  • Conduct market research and gather feedback from stakeholders to drive informed product decisions

Technical Leadership:

  • Lead the software development team in designing, developing, and deploying the Pharmacy Management System
  • Make critical architectural decisions to ensure the system is scalable, secure, and efficient
  • Maintain high-quality code standards and best practices throughout the development lifecycle

System Integration and Middleware Management:

  • Oversee the integration of the Pharmacy Management System with other internal and external platforms
  • Manage the comprehensive API to ensure seamless connectivity with telehealth platforms and financial systems
  • Ensure secure and efficient data management practices are upheld across all integrations

Project Management:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables with precision
  • Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication to align expectations and ensure cohesive collaboration
  • Present product updates, progress reports, and performance metrics to senior management

User Experience and Optimization:

  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, data analysis, and business impact
  • Continuously monitor system performance and user satisfaction, identifying and implementing areas for improvement
  • Implement and oversee rigorous quality assurance processes to deliver a robust and reliable product

Resource Management:

  • Allocate resources strategically to maximize productivity and achieve project goals
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners as necessary

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or a similar role, particularly with a focus on healthcare or pharmacy systems
  • Strong technical background with extensive experience in software development, system architecture, and database management
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Comprehensive understanding of API integrations and middleware solutions
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations, healthcare regulations, and telehealth services is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience as a lead developer is a significant plus
