We are dscout, home of the People Nerds! We partner with human-centric organizations like Google, Salesforce, AirBnB, Target, and Best Buy to help build the right products for the right people with our suite of user research tools. Our team cares deeply about quality research, making companies more human, and of course—nerding out together. We are continuing to add to our smart and driven team, and we would love for you to join us.

As a Senior Product Manager you will work closely with customers, business and technology partners to define and execute the product roadmap for dscout’s Research Experience platform. You will be responsible for product roadmap planning, coordinating discovery, design and delivery with UX and engineering, consistently delivering value and working closely with product marketing on messaging, launches and product adoption.

Here’s the fun part: you are a product person building products for product people… we hope this excites you! Some special aspects of being a product manager at dscout include being surrounded by an environment of passionate collaborators with an eye for user-based outcomes, OKR based roadmaps, and thoughtful data-driven decision making.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with business and technical leads to drive alignment and execution against customer needs and dscout’s goals.
  • Gather feedback from global stakeholders and partner with designers and UXRs through research, ideation, solution design, and user testing phases to ensure maximum usability for all features developed.
  • Create product plans and requirements that are informative, concise and drive effective decision making and accountability for product success from design through delivery.
  • Partner with a Tech Lead on refining, technical development, and quality of projects to delivery products in a timely fashion.
  • Relay value proposition and conduct product demonstrations at company, industry and high stakes customer meetings and events.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales and customer success for ideation, stakeholder management and successful launch of new products.
  • Closely monitor the Research industry to ensure dscout stays innovative and competitive for traditional user researchers as well as people newer to research.
  • Define and analyze metrics and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) that inform the success of product launch and adoption.
  • Oversee milestones and communicate project status, scope changes, and critical metrics to all stakeholders, including senior and executive management.

What you need to have:

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably at a customer-facing SaaS company
  • Prior experience with ownership of a product or feature from inception to delivery with experience in GTM strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to drive teams to completion in an agile environment with a track record of successfully released products
  • Analytical skills to assess business problems and determine the impact on business values.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and write requirements, create KPis, measure success and communicate that information to engineering teams.
  • Understanding of the technical architecture of web and mobile applications
  • Experience developing B2B software products, technologies, and/or platforms
  • Ability to build trust and empathy with stakeholders, customers and partners.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Experience driving results with remote teams and a willingness to travel.
  • User research skills (ideation, evaluative inquiries, customer interviews, validation processes) is a bonus
