What you get to do in this role:
- Partner with team members across multiple offices and other partners (Finance, Legal, IT, and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure accurate Revenue Accounting.
- Perform risk-based contract reviews ensuring products and related terms are properly reflected in our ERP reporting systems.
- Assist in process improvements, especially by leveraging new technologies such as AI.
- Assist in required month-end close activities like accounting, reconciliations & reporting around revenue.
- Ensure SOX compliance & support Audits.
- Contribute to revenue policy updates and advancement.
- Support process improvements and implementation for refinement in processes.
- Compliance with ASC 606/IFRS 15 accounting standards.
- Work with a multi-national team, collaborating to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and teamwork.
- Fluent in English
Requirements
To be successful in this role you have:
- 2+ years of experience with background in Revenue or Operational accounting.
- Industry accounting experience preferred.
- Degree in accounting is a must.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred.
- Working knowledge of current literature related to ASC 606 / IFRS15.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within a team to expedite completion of projects with other teams including FP&A, Sales, Marketing, and Information Systems.
- Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
