Java Software Developer

We are looking for an experienced software developer (Java) to support us in maintaining, extending, and enhancing the Avaloq Wealth Platform. You will closely work with highly specialized product owners, developers, business analyst, QAs who are expert in their area and contribute to overall success of this platform and strategic roadmap.

• You will take on technical responsibility and ownership for writing & delivering code for desired functionalities and features.
• Responsible for building API to support performance test to improve test data quality & volume.
• Deployment of ready features on our development & UAT environment.
• In alignment with our IT architect, you are responsible to you take care of the continuous improvement of our wealth platform from performance point of view.

Requirements

This position requires

• Self-starter, team player with customer centric mind set and excellent time management
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Java with Spring Boot and object-oriented programming with component-based development with Java
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field is desirable
• Experience with Microservices, REST API, Spring, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JMS and solid SQL skills
• Proficient with Agile software development methodologies
• Proficient with code versioning (GIT) and CI/CD (Jenkins)
• Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEs, various plug-ins and build tool Gradle
• Work effectively with a cross-functional development & QA teams
