Designer

NBCUniversal's company-wide on-air graphics organization, The Arthouse, is seeking a Designer with a television design background. Must have design and leadership skills and the ability to work on individual and team projects. The Arthouse serves NBC Universal Local NBC and Telemundo stations, along with Regional Sports Network, NBC Cable Channels and Streaming platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Must be a designer with proactive problem-solving skills.
• Work with our team to maintain established design standards and brands.
• Provide positive customer support.
• Receptive of art direction from leadership.

Requirements

• At least 4 years’ experience with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects
• Must provide still and motion examples of work
• Works well in a collaborative, team environment and be able to multi-task
• Flexibility in schedules and assignments; able to work nights and weekends
• Must accept Solutions as NBCUniversal’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program
• Willing to work in Fort Worth, Texas just south of DFW airport
• Must be 18 years or greater
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

Desired Characteristics:

• Bilingual in Spanish/English
• Strong communication skills and a dedicated, customer-focused approach to servicing a large, deadline-driven client base
• Demonstrate solid creative skills and the ability to take art direction
• XPression map software working knowledge
• Production experience with a company and/or news station is a plus
• Experience with Cinema 4D

Additional Requirements:

• Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
