About the role & team:

We’re an organic content team looking for a highly skilled, native English-speaking Content Manager with a strong attention to editorial detail, a passion for data and technology, and a sharp business sense. The ideal candidate is a professional editor with a track record of creating and managing performance-driven blog content and a keen interest in SEO and user-growth strategies. Join our dynamic, global SEO team and play a crucial role in expanding our online presence in the US.

Excelling in this position requires thriving in a collaborative environment, working closely across different time zones with copywriters, editors, SEO experts, data analysts, designers, publishing specialists, external agencies, and more. This is a hybrid role based in the Czech Republic or London, with flexibility to work remotely, but requires some in-person collaboration at our Prague headquarters, Brno office, or London office.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Manage and execute the Acquisition content strategy for our industry-leading consumer blog and deliver outstanding editorial quality to our US audience.
• Plan and oversee the editorial calendar to ensure smooth publishing processes that support our website, brand, and audiences.
• Collaborate with our expert editorial team to create impactful and engaging long-form content seen by millions of people around the world.
• Edit, review, and publish articles about identity protection, financial wellness, online scams, digital security, and related topics to help people safely navigate their digital lives.
• Help lead a team of freelance copywriters, coordinating content planning and execution, and assisting with budgeting and related tasks.
• Closely monitor and optimize the performance of all content to deliver against challenging traffic, engagement, and conversion targets.
• Work cross-functionally with copywriters, marketing and product managers, subject-matter experts, SEO specialists, designers, developers, and technical teams to ensure impeccable content that supports our product roadmap.
• Continually learn and refine techniques for gauging the needs and preferences of our US audience, and for planning and delivering content that matches that.
• Help solidify our brand as an industry-leading and highly trust

What You’ll Need to be Successful in this Role

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a digital copywriter or content manager, with proven ability to write engaging, long-form “performance” content that drives web traffic and conversions (user acquisition, lead generation, sales).
• 3+ years of experience working with a team of writers and editors, while helping to manage an editorial calendar and coordinate content production with multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Professional editorial experience, with superb proofreading and copy-editing skills and a meticulous attention to accuracy.
• Successful track record of managing editorial projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop writers.
• Experience writing and editing content about technology, with expertise in some of the following areas: identity protection, financial wellness, scams, online security and privacy, and SaaS.
• Journalism background and/or the ability to quickly research complex subjects, synthesize new information, and write clearly, concisely, and accurately about a variety of topics for a general audience.
• Proficiency using web analytics tools (like Google Analytics and Google Search Console) to evaluate content performance and suggest actionable improvements.
• Knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn about) fundamental SEO principles and how to optimize web content for maximum organic search visibility.
• Familiarity with conversion-rate optimization (CRO) techniques and a passion for testing new ways to improve content performance.
• Ability to use a CMS to edit and publish content independently.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a flexible, committed approach to work.
• Detail-oriented, organized, results-driven, and able to work independently with only directional supervision.
• Native English speaker, preferably American English.
• This is a hybrid role with time spent each week in our Prague headquarters, Brno office, or London office, with some flexibility to work remotely.
