About the role

As Head of Marketing, you will take up a key role within the team. You will be responsible for shaping the Userlane Marketing strategy to capitalize on the rapidly growing demand for large organizations to understand and improve the value of their software investments. You will oversee and develop an internal team and leverage external partners to drive brand awareness and pipeline growth.

Ideally, you bring deep experience in building and leading a high-performance B2B SaaS Marketing organization targeting enterprise buyers, have successfully managed geographic expansion, and have a passion for the employee experience space.

Your three main responsibilities:

  • Build an iconic brand As a fast-growing company in an emerging industry, a key part of your role will be to position us as a leader and help us shape the category. You will champion our story with all stakeholders, including employees, users, customers, investors, ecosystem partners, and analysts.
  • Ensure pipeline coverage Your success will be measured based on your impact on our revenue. This includes ensuring a delightful brand experience and hitting KPIs along the complete customer journey - from awareness to closing to expansion and advocacy. As we target Enterprise prospects, you will drive our Field Marketing and ABM motion in close collaboration with our Sales, Customer Success, and Partnership teams.
  • Develop the Marketing team and culture We grow fast, and the Marketing organization needs to scale with it. This will require you to develop and hire exceptional talent and give your teams enough ownership and latitude that they are happy and fulfilled in creating value for their stakeholders. Your key challenge will be to balance maintaining the existing culture with evolving a new one - while ensuring our Marketing team excels on their mission and lives the values of our organization.

Your profile:

  • Experience You have a minimum experience of 5 years in a Marketing leadership position such as VP or Head of Marketing in a B2B Enterprise SaaS company. You should have led and coordinated several Marketing disciplines/teams so that you were responsible for goal setting, performance management, and hiring/firing decisions. As international expansion is one of our key priorities for the next few years, the experience of entering new markets will be a major advantage.
  • Expertise You understand that technology is always changing and bring expertise in Marketing strategies, frameworks, and software. Expert knowledge of scaling the commercial impact through Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Brand/Communication, together with a track record of working together with Sales and Customer Success in an ABM setup, is a big plus. Additionally, you bring the ability to define Marketing processes along the full customer journey and know which tools and services to select in order to automate and accelerate Marketing workflows and evangelize our brand and value proposition toward potential and existing customers.
  • Personality You are a clear communicator and strive to continuously raise the bar for your team, driven by your passion for B2B Marketing. You will be a role model for your team and can build a collaborative culture across the organization. You communicate your ideas, feedback, and challenges and raise awareness of current and future risks and opportunities the company and Marketing organization might face and how we should approach them.
