Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Manager - HPE Demand Marketing who will lead a team to design and drive a core set of global campaigns in collaboration with product marketing and regional field teams. This leader and their team will take themes and messaging from product marketing and turn those into compelling journeys for our prospects and customers by understanding what vehicles and messages that cause the targeted personas to take action. They will work with our digital and creative team on specific assets and the field teams on execution. This leader will be data driven and use analytics to test and iterate -- optimizing the campaign strategy and elements to surpass goals.

This position is a teleworker and can be based anywhere within the United States.

As the Senior Manager - HPE Demand Marketing you will:

  • Develop innovative global demand creation campaigns resulting in leads and pipeline that turn into opportunities and revenue for sales.
  • Distil complex B2B narratives into compelling prospect journeys that tell a story and inspire action.
  • Design campaigns that can be easily leveraged by a variety of partners.
  • Coordinate a global nurture program which is highly coupled with the campaigns.
  • Drive recruitment campaigns for major events such as Discover annual user conference.
  • Collaborate with all functions, especially working as one team with regional field marketing functions.
  • Work with Product and Solutions Marketing to maintain and ensure targeted persona information.
  • Continually balance and improve the global and regional dynamic to optimize effectiveness.
  • Build mechanisms and processes for efficient campaign build from product marketing to regional marketing.
  • Manage the global campaign budget.
  • Utilize first-hand insights and data to report out on progress against goals at an executive level.
  • Lead a highly functional team – recruiting, managing, supporting, and motivating people.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 10+ years in a B2B marketing leadership role, ideally in the technology industry.
  • Global marketing experience.
  • History of building marketing campaigns that yield higher than average pipeline.
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing methodologies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to drive best in class marketing and cross-functional processes/procedures.
  • Functional marketing skills including the creation of successful marketing strategies and developing innovative marketing programs.
  • Designing compelling marketing programs for both IT operators (technical) and IT executives within mid-market to enterprise customers up to and including CxOs.
  • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams to create business results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaboration and Influencing Skills – The qualified candidate must be able to influence without ownership, which they will do by demonstrating competence and confidence, listening well, using fact-based persuasion, and persistence as appropriate to the audience and issue at stake.
  • Ability to think strategically, but also have exceptional attention to detail in execution.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Data driven decision making.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $126,500.00 - $291,000.00
