About the Role: Product Educator – Enterprise Solutions

As one of our critical horizontal execution functions, our Product Education team aims to elevate the level of knowledge of and engagement with our ES products for both customers and internal colleagues alike. Our team is guided by the following principles:

Encourage desired behavior and guide users when and where they need it most, thereby increasing the likelihood of long-term product adoption. Communicate the value of our products and their latest features through impactful product marketing. High-quality, technical product documentation to support our users in the knowledge transfer and application of our products. Help our users build credibility and confidence by validating their expertise with an industry recognized credential. Continuously raise awareness of our Enterprise products with all users (internal & external) through a series of effective learning paths and courses.

Responsibilities and Impact:

As a Product Educator with a specialism in Training, you will design and develop learning material for our industry-recognized certification training programs, in addition to other on-demand learning content. Content created should be both instructional and appealing for a variety of target audiences. On a daily basis you will collaborate with your fellow Product Education team members and the various Product team to not just create new content, but also adapt existing course material to ensure the application of modern instructional design theories, practice, and methods. You will have the autonomy to create whatever resources you believe will best meet the brief, be it through demonstrational videos, live coaching sessions, or gamification. At S&P Global, we embrace discovery and innovation.

There will be plenty of opportunity to contribute to product education initiatives across all Enterprise Solutions products, including activities such as the onboarding of content onto our online knowledge base, the continuous expansion of our dedicated Learning Management System (LMS), and maintenance of our AWS-hosted training environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and insights for the development of learning material.
  • Conduct needs assessments and audience analysis to identify specific learning objectives and tailor the content accordingly.
  • Utilize learning management system and other digital tools to create interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and other learning content through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to learners, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of training events, workshops, and webinars.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of product education strategies and initiatives.
  • Keep informed on industry advancements and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $61,846.00 to $110,130.25. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business or equivalent.
  • Previous working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology for 3 years + preferred.
  • Passion for learning and continuous professional development.
  • Strong critical thinking, writing and problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Capable of building strong working relationships in a collaborative setting.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard.
  • Knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
  • Previous experience with any of our Enterprise Solutions products.
  • Working experience with PowerBI and Pendo.
  • Keen interest in financial markets.
