We are seeking a Sales Operations Associate to join our dynamic Sales Operations Team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and providing world class sales support and service to assigned portfolio of the new and existing customers. The role will pro-actively develop and grow established Navico Group customers’ sales by identifying and assessing their needs and following up on promotional activities in conjunction with Sales team. This role acts as primary point of contact for assigned customer base on sales & product related enquiries.

Key Work Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders timely and accurately in line with procedures and policies ensuring OTD metrics are attained at all times.
  • Actively seek opportunities to fulfil backorders offering complimentary products & beneficial alternatives.
  • Generate quotations per request and follow up on the records for converting quotes into firm sales orders.
  • Manage and maintain the total order book for all assigned accounts with a focus on operational execution excellence.
  • Follow up on shipments schedule to ensure that possible obstacles are removed and warehouse can execute shipment of the goods in timely fashion.
  • Issue and provide on time documentation necessary for dispatch of the goods from Warehouse or 3rd party vendors.
  • Communicate and address appropriately specific customer requests related to labelling or handling of cargo.
  • Manage incoming calls and customer operations inquiries.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods and tools.
  • Answer customer product related questions in frames of Sales activities.
  • Follow up on promotions and campaign in conjunction with Sales.
  • Handle customer complaints other than related to technical issues with products, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Administrate non-faulty RMA scenarios and follow up with Logistics and Finance representatives for the soonest resolution of the issues in frames of applicable practices and policies.
  • Provide Sales with details on accounts’ activities in agreed format and based on agreed frequency.
  • Provide customers information related to product availability matters and alternative products in cases of low stock, as well as details on pricing and other attributes of a sale.
  • Provide administrative support to the customers in a view of collecting and reporting various details reflecting state of their business with Navico Group.
  • Collaborate with Finance representatives on the matters of credit holds to ensure minimal impact on scheduled shipments.
  • Train customers on available B2B selling tools.
  • Introduce to the customer base available processes and procedures to ensure smooth transaction between customers and Company.
  • Follow procedures, guidelines and policies to ensure compliant execution of operational tasks.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Minimum 3 years of Order Management or inside sales experience (preferably with finished goods)
  • Knowledge of Logistics practices an advantage
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Full professional proficiency in English and French language (Additional European Language is in line with Market/Hiring Business unit)
  • Ability to negotiate & sell into a diverse customer base with a diverse portfolio of products
