We are seeking a skilled and creative 3D Designer who has hands-on experience working with composite materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing complex 3D models and prototypes, utilizing their expertise in composites to create high-performance, durable, and aesthetically pleasing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 3D models and renderings of composite products using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, or similar).
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and material scientists to understand project requirements and constraints.
  • Create and optimize designs for manufacturability and performance, considering the unique properties of composite materials.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to predict the behavior of composite structures under various conditions.
  • Generate technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for production.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in composite materials and 3D design technologies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve product designs and processes.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a 3D Designer with a strong focus on composite materials.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Rhino, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of composite materials, their properties, and applications.
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
  • Strong technical drawing and documentation skills.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with additive manufacturing techniques and 3D printing of composite materials.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to composite materials.
