Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is seeking a Digital Collaboration Specialist

Join us on our journey towards a more transparent and efficient maritime industry. We are looking for a passionate individual to become our Digital Collaboration Specialist. This role is pivotal in implementing innovative digital collaboration strategies across WSS, enhancing transparency, and delivering value to our customers and co-workers.

Position Overview:

Digital Collaboration Specialists are certified agile and technical experts, who support teams to improve their ways of working (WoW)

  • Digital transformation involves leveraging state-of-the-art software tools and technologies to encourage innovation, efficiency, and scalability
  • Collaboration goes beyond just working together, it means the combination of diverse skills, perspectives, and expertise to achieve shared goals
  • Expert actively provides professional on-demand agile and technical support

As a Digital Collaboration Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic Digital Collaboration team, working closely with various teams and stakeholders.

You will be responsible for streamlining and optimizing our use of digital collaboration tool, initially with a focus on Office 365 suite (Microsoft Teams), to foster better communication, collaboration, and productivity across all departments.

Your mission is to foster a culture of digital collaboration and transparency, leading to faster, smarter, and more empowering business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate stakeholders' needs into simple, purpose-fit digital solutions
  • Engage with teams and stakeholders, building strong, trust-based relationships
  • Identify and understand the digital collaboration needs and limitations within teams
  • Train teams on company-wide best practices on collaboration tools and ways of working (WoW) to ensure harmony across WSS
  • Set up and maintain Jira projects, Confluence spaces, and other necessary tools
  • Govern and improve the use of collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Establish and maintain guidelines for how our teams document their work within our tools
  • Advise teams on maximizing the value of collaboration tools
  • Continuously improve our tools and practices to ensure that our teams leverages their full potential

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • A blend of technical expertise and people (change management) skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, project management, change management, or product management
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suite (Teams, Outlook) and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence)
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing digital collaboration (through Microsoft Teams) in a corporate environment
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and motivational skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to see things through until they create value
  • Ability to inspire and drive change with an approachable and trustworthy presence

Desired Certifications and Experience:

  • Managing Jira Projects for Cloud Certification (ACP-620)
  • Experience with agile methodologies/frameworks (Kanban, Scrum, DevOps)
  • Experience with Atlassian, Azure DevOps, Trello, ITSM or other collaboration tools
  • Understanding of OKRs and other goal management frameworks
