YOU

As an Associate Meeting and Event Planning Coordinator you will assist the Branch Manager, Sales Support Manager, Training Manager, Sales Management, and outside sales force in the day-to-day operations of managing growth and reaching branch and company goals.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)

Set up conference rooms to organizers specifications (35%)

Research and negotiate venues and catering options. Order meals for meetings and meet caterers for deliveries. (20%)

Assists Meeting and Event Planning Supervisor, Sales Managers, Training Manager, and outside sales team with various tasks including, but not limited to, meeting room set up, meeting materials, and meal set up. (15%)

Check inventory and order supplies such as snacks and drinks needed for meetings and events. (10%)

Run errands to pick up supplies and meals as needed. (10%)

Helps plan and coordinate branch events for employees. (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you’ve got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Associate’s Degree (A.A.); or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Must have a clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in the past two years.
  • Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and training.
  • Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and projects.
  • Excels under Pressure: Thrives in fast-paced settings. Must demonstrate agility, quick decision making, and adaptability to ensure seamless operations in a rapidly changing landscape.
  • Accountability & Dependability: Able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Mathematical Reasoning: Able to apply basic Algebra and Geometry concepts. Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimal equivalents.
  • Reading Comprehension: Able to read and write simple correspondence and able to follow instructions.
  • Decision Making & Judgement: Ability to think and act quickly.
  • Analysis/Reasoning: Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Communication: Able to communicate one-on-one and in small group settings.
  • Creative & Innovative Thinking: Ability to contribute original and resourceful ideas.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used.

TRAVEL

This position requires domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, exempt position is located in McKinney, TX.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

PAY

$20.29 - $25.38 / Hour
