JR57933 Global Quality Analytics Engineer

Experience:

• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Engineers with 0-4 years of relevant experience and semiconductor manufacturing industry exposure will qualify for Senior Engineering positions.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelors’/Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study with programming exposure. Masters’ Degree Preferred.
• External courses or certifications in Statistics/Data Analysis/Google Cloud Platform or Kaggle competition achievements will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions that gather insights from data to solve problems in manufacturing quality.
• Develop and maintain existing solutions including data pipelines, dashboards, and applications.
• Drive problem solving leveraging both Micron proprietary and 3rd party tools and applications (including Data Science, Machine Learning, and AI tools) to address critical Micron Quality needs.
• Project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Collaborate closely with end users, functional domain experts and IT/Data Science teams to provide solutions to quality control systems.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Must have skills:

• Knowledge of descriptive and inferential statistics. Understanding of univariate, multivariate statistics. Candidates with statistical process control experience will qualify for senior positions.
• SQL, especially DML, for extracting and analyzing data.
• Python programming with libraries like Pandas, NumPy and SciPy.
• Knowledge of any data visualization tool, preferably Tableau.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong willingness to learn semiconductor manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced work environment.
• Willing to work in Singapore office timings.

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of data warehouses and related technologies like Snowflake.
• Knowledge of cloud tools like OpenShift or Google Cloud Platform.
• Flair for building full stack solutions. (Django/Angular preferably).
• Exposure to Atlassian eco-system (Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira).
