The Wireline services product line offers a complete range of downhole well logging technology and services for every environment. We are continuously developing our own technologies. Partner with the best

As a Lead Technical Support Engineer, you'll work as part of the support team. You'll lead and provide technical support to other groups and co-workers for Baker Hughes Wireline in Australia. You'll provide coaching to others specialist, technicians, and apprentices in your area of expertise.

As a Lead Technical Support Engineer - Wireline Services you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to Operations Teams, Sales, and clients.

  • Developing and implementing solutions to meet client needs.

  • Managing and coordinating the introduction of new technologies.

  • Collaborating with AMO Teams to troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations.

  • Ensuring compliance with managing the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.

  • Raising alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issue arises on a job.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering or equivalent.

  • Have at least 5 years of thorough understanding (Technical) and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services (advanced open/cased-hole services)

  • Have experience with open hole & cased hole logging and perforating services.

  • Be a good communicator and fluent in English.
