Commercial Manager

RPO Recruitment's client, in the packaging industry, is currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join their team in Pinetown. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial activities related to packaging. You will work closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

As a Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities to ensure our company remains competitive and innovative in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies specific to the packaging industry
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue and achieve sales targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships
• Manage and nurture client relationships to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
• Analyze market data and customer insights to identify growth opportunities
• Lead and motivate the commercial team to achieve performance targets

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial management, preferably in the packaging industry
• Strong understanding of packaging market trends and customer needs
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Results-driven and customer-focused mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
