Working closely with our US Senior Leadership and Field Leadership teams, the Strategy and Insights team delivers projects of the highest strategic relevance to McDonald’s. As a group, we play a critical role in setting, executing, and analyzing our multi-year strategy and business performance; interacting with key stakeholders, including our executive and owner-operator leaders.
As a Field Strategy and Insights Manager, you will play a key role in using analytics to develop insights and drive strategic decisions impacting billions of dollars of McDonald’s business. In this high-visibility position will serve as a talent
Responsibilities :
- Use multiple analytics and insights techniques to evaluate business performance and identify strategic opportunities
- Craft compelling narratives and deliver presentations around business performance and opportunities for growth, influencing the direction of the business
- Act as a trusted advisor to multiple stakeholders and cross-functional partners, including the Field Office Vice President, functional subject areas, ad agencies, and owner-operators/franchisees
- Play a lead role in the planning process, collaborating with Field Office executives and Owner Operators to set the strategy for a multi-billion-dollar geography of McDonald’s
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual projections, combining analytical techniques with insights about the market-place and internal initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Finance, Marketing, Data Science, or Mathematics/Statistics; MBA preferred
- 5+ years professional experience, previous experience in strategy, analytics, & insights for a large organization is a plus
- Customer-focused strategic thinker with the ability to see how data connects and impacts the overall business
- Effective leadership and presentation skills, with an ability to influence high risk decisions
- Strong prioritization, problem solving and project management skills (from conception to completion)
- Self-motivated with the ability to establish and meet deadlines
- Comfortable with ambiguity
- Operates effectively in a team-based environment
- Willing to travel domestically up to 25%
