User Experience Designer I

We’re looking for self-motivated problem solvers who can help us craft and improve customer experiences on a global scale for multiple brands in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

In the Partner Experience Design team, you will collaborate with a lead designer, researchers, content designers, product managers, and engineers to create impactful solutions and value for our partners. You will work with and contribute to our design system and leverage an app-first mentality. Your role is to synthesize feedback from partners into interactions that make our diverse customers confident working with our products.

You will focus on our partner Marketing tools: Expanding our portfolio of advertising products across multiple brands, and exploring new ways to monetize travelers’ trip considerations. You will consider the experiences of advertising partners as well as travelers.

What you will do:

• Craft and tell stories that frame the problems using research and other data sources
• Come up with multiple experience design variations and provide expert advise on the pros and cons of each
• Design and document interactions with the design system
• Participate in design swarms, sprints, and provide and actively seek feedback

Who you are:

• Demonstrate understanding of visual and interaction design foundations and creates appropriate sketches, wireframes, flows, design comps, and prototypes with guidance
• Case study of your best work that portrays the team, thought process, successes, and pivots along the way
• Beneficial: Knowledge of front-end scripting languages for prototyping purposes
• Beneficial: Experience in designing for diverse groups of people (internationalization, localization, accessibility, etc.)
