The DCX Home-Based Graphic Designer has a strong ability to listen to the client, understand their goals, and assist in the creation of creative solutions with a high visual impact. This role will work closely with the client to ensure that branding is integrated into the goals of the partner brands they serve. Your creativity, attention to detail, and understanding of design principles will play a vital role in shaping the visual identity and success of the client's brand.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Designing multiple sizes of social and display ad units based on the design of 1-2 key units from the senior designer.
• Editing and compositing photos and graphics.
• Interpreting spec sheets and ad unit requirements.
• Creating multiple design solutions.
• Exporting final production files within file weight requirements.
• Working in Photoshop and Illustrator.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Must be capable of working within a MAC operating system
• Expert with Adobe Suite, (CC, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat) on a MAC platform
• Experience with print-ready PDF workflow processes preferred
• Familiar with proofing, pre-flighting and preparing files to print
• Demonstrate strong organization skills and ability to work efficiently.
• Demonstrates design ability to be applied to existing brands
• Work well in a team environment or independently
• Able to meet company's high quality control standards
• Assist Design Director and Graphic Designers in layout, set-up or file prepping on existing projects
• Willingness to learn and be mentored by more experienced designers
• Performs other duties as assigned
• 6+ years in professional graphic design experience
