Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • In charge of PR strategy planning and align with global strategy.
  • Upholding brand image through qualitative negotiation with media partner with strategic point of view
  • Ensure local PR/ EPR strategy is properly implemented and precisely manage PR budget.

Press communications, event, and tools

  • Develop long term relations and independently deal with key media partner and influencers.
  • Planning, negotiate 360-degree co-op projects with key media partners coherent with annual strategy.
  • Supervise press release translation, advertorial write up, distribution and follow up to ensure maximum exposure.
  • Plan and execute press trips & events from show to collection launch.
  • Notice industry competition analysis and provide insight for upcoming strategy planning.

Internal coordination

  • Establish close communication with Global PR team, China PR Team of WFJ, FBP, CELEBRITY, ART & CULTURE to support divisional event and resource sharing.
  • Work closely with Media, Social team and Marketing team and other internal departments to support company initiatives.

People Leadership and Development

  • Manage, coach and train PR support staff. Recruit and retain the highest quality staff.
  • Ensure the company policies and procedures are upheld. Ensure that PR supporting team receives formal feedback through performance appraisal and discussions.
  • Reward and recognize staff for performance.

Person Specifications:

Academic / Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

  • 10 years experiences in PR / EPR / Corporate Communications in Fashion industry.

Required Competencies

  • Good relationship and network with media in China with good track record
  • Be passionate about the brand, strong sense of luxury and branding.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within a busy and energetic work environment.
  • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent coaching skill to manage and develop the current PR team.
  • Creative, confident, dynamic, and independent with strong team-working spirit and strong sense of responsibility. Able to work under pressure.
  • Able to report clearly and concisely to management.
  • Able to cope with frequent travel schedule.
  • Excellent team player
  • Effectively bilingual in French, English and Mandarin. Proficiency in written and spoken French is a plus.
