J ob Description:

An exciting opportunity to work within DTN’s APAC team with a remit for managing partner led sales across APAC. This position’s core function is to help develop and drive partner sales channels across the region within our weather, agriculture and refined fuels sectors. The role will need a hands-on approach for partner management and will require direct sales experience.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and setting up a network of suitable partners across the APAC region capable of reselling or integrating DTN’s solutions to the market
  • Work with marketing teams to develop GTM strategies in each country and/or the region as a whole
  • With Snr Commercial Leader, APAC, help set up robust and sustainable partner contracts
  • Identify and quantify market opportunities alongside partners in predefined sectors that DTN operates
  • Directly support and guide partners through the sales process with a focus on larger enterprise deals, multi-national and government contracts
  • Identify barriers to entry in any given country, including but not limited to cultural, political or regulatory
  • Maintain good visibility on all partner channels to reduce risk of channel conflict and efficiency
  • Provide reporting to Snr Commercial Leader, APAC on regional performance and tracking, including sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain new accounts and existing customer relationships with a view to leverage for new sales and upsell opportunities.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to understand the needs of the partner or customer to demonstrate the value of the DTN products, insights, and services
  • Engaging communication with active listening and problem solving for customers to understand their unmet needs and how DTN solutions may be of benefit and serve those needs
  • Manage a pipeline of new business to meet DTN APAC goals
  • Visiting partners, prospective partners, prospects and clients as needed, frequent regional travel (monthly) will be required
  • Customer responsive and service focused
  • As part of a performance-based team, the Senior Partnerships Manager will need to meet or exceed annual targets

What you will bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of sales and territory management experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated partner sales management, ideally across APAC
  • Software and Information as a Service sales experience is a plus
  • Must be assertive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
  • Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving, and solutions selling
  • Self-starter with proven track record of delivering sales results
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, environment and handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience and demonstrated success selling across the APAC region is a bonus
