Job Description:

Product Development Manager for Product Development would be a manager who exhibits the principles and practices of Lean-Agile Leadership.

The manager has personal responsibility for the coaching and career development of direct reports, takes responsibility for eliminating impediments, and actively evolves the systems in which all knowledge assets operate.

They have final accountability for effective value delivery from the teams as well.

Job Description

• Attract, recruit, induct, and retain capable personnel.
• Evaluate performance, including team input; provide input, guidance, and corrective actions.
• Participate in defining and administrating compensation, benefit, and promotions.
• Perform career coaching and personal development.
• Sets priority for team members to assure task completion.
• Listen and support teams in problem identification, root cause analysis, and decision-making. Eliminate impediments.
• Manages and leads teams, including their competence development.
• Full financial responsibility for own profit unit.
• Establishes short- and midterm plans in cooperation with the management team and participates in strategy creation.
• Communicates, targets and strategies clearly.
• Builds an environment that supports cooperation and cohesiveness among the work teams and with other areas of the organization cross border.
• Remain close enough to the team to add value and to be a competent manager; stay far enough away to let them problem-solve on their own.
• Act as role model for company Values.
• Experience of handling products in maintenance phase. Handling client escalations, critical issues/ tickets, pressure of delivering the fixes urgently etc.
• Stakeholder management: Effective collaboration with product owners, onsite team/ leaders, technical support people.
• Establish and follow Agile ways of working.
