What will you be doing?
As a Battery Systems Modelling Engineer_,_ you will join the UK team to support our activities within the Aerospace/Space sectors.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Conduct research on new progressive battery tech which is suitable for hybrid/electric propulsion systems, specifically within aerospace, space & aviation usage;
- Outline the battery pack testing equipment alongside the requirements for the laboratory infrastructure;
- Analyse battery systems with the use of simulation tools to predict the reliability of the battery systems being modelled;
- Design & develop battery systems specifically for hybrid propulsion systems.

Requirements
Experience, skills and qualifications required:
- Must have a Masters or Bachelors degree within Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. We can however accept further fields given a relevance to battery or energy systems/technology;
- Must hold the full right to work within the UK;
- Must have 5+ years of experience specifically within battery design/testing;
- Must have experience with COMSOL as a simulation tool, similar tools will be accepted if able to use proficiently.
