M365 Applications Architect

Our Service Hub Collaboration is looking for system and application architect, for creating and improving several business applications based on services and applications from Microsoft, especially M365 and Azure Services.

The main focus is here on SharePoint Online and Power Platform Services, but not exclusively.
The architect should be able to lend a hand himself and is happy to take this up within the framework of the tasks set and application developments.

Your tasks:

• Utilizing M365 Suite, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power portfolio (PowerPlatform, PowerApps, PowerBI, …) to optimize the service portfolio within SH Collaboration

• You need a strong drive and curiosity to quickly familiarize yourself with new features of the M365 Suite (such as CoPilot, AI, etc.) and advise us in the hub on how we can use this efficiently for ourselves.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal Product Owners/Service Owners in standardizing and automating our service offerings towards customers.

• Establishing a central, future-oriented spot for creating and sharing information/status that supports internal communication channels will also be part of your tasks.

• Contributing to the requirements analysis and design of new and existing business applications for several business sides within Deutsche Telekom. These business applications are based on M365 and Azure services, as well as Power Platform services.

• Development of a system/application architecture, documentation, cooperation together with internal experts (e.g. other architects, developers and testers) and several business sides.

• Participate in the Security & Compliance process to get approval from compliance (produce Compliance documents, interface descriptions and architectural overview graphics).

Requirements

Must have technical skills:

Overarching know-how as system and application architect as well as good working experience as Power-User of Microsoft 365 services, especially in

• Application Design (Application Architecture, Data modelling, Business Logic, DDD, Visualization, Communication, Authentication)

• SharePoint Online (e.g. lists, libraries, search, columns and content types, MS Lists, access from PowerShell and API)

• Automation experience with Power Automate (Expressions, Triggers, Connectors, Environments, Solutions, Conditions, Approvals, plus SharePoint-, Teams-, M365-Group, Outlook- and Planner tasks)

• Architectural knowledge concerning Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power BI, Power Automate RPA, Power Virtual Agents, Power Pages, AI Builder as well as Power Platform Connectors)

• M365 Groups (how integrated in SPO, difference SharePoint and M365 groups, calendar, notification settings)

• Azure Active Directory

• Sensitive labeling (e.g. for SharePoint, PowerBI)

• Licenses

• B2B Accounts

• Knowledge and experience concerning security and privacy topics, especially for Power Platform and M365 based solutions (Compliance requests)

Nice to have technical skills:

• MS Teams (teams, channels, tabs, how to customize, how to add apps, virtual agents, access from PowerShell and API)

• Microsoft Identity (Entra ID), App Registration, (REST-)APIs, AAD Permissions, Delegated Access

• Microsoft AI Skills (AI Builder, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Machine Learning, Machine Learning Operations, Copilot, Azure OpenAI)

• Business Process (e.g. SAFe operational value stream, ITIL process) documentation (e.g. BPMN or flow chart) and definition + optimization (lead time, throughput, quality, cost, kpi)

• Git, Scripting (e.g. PowerShell and PowerShell modules), coding (e.g. c#, TypeScript), VS Code and Visual Studio

• Agile Methodologies/Mindset/Manifest/Scrum, Jira, Azure DevOps, SAFe

• Excel (Formulas, Tables, Data sync, Power Queries, Pivot Tables)

• OneDrive, Planner, ToDo, Outlook, OneNote, Word, Power Point, Whiteboard, Visio, draw.io, Miro

• Stays informed regarding Microsoft M365 roadmap and other modern IT trends

• Certifications in some of the mentioned products or services

• LLM, ChatGPT, BARD, …

o Good spoken and written communication in English
