Responsibilities:

• 1.Design of NVH components and products based on defined concepts along the VC ProMaP workflow from the RFQ phase to SOP - and supporting in the pre-RFQ phase
  2. Comprehensive knowledge of and working in compliance to design guidelines, standards and best practice portfolios
  3. Part design in respect to robustness, feasibility (DFM) and design to cost (D2C) using global VC Engineering tools, considering the respective due dates
  4. Optimization of components based on defined counter measures
  5. Documentation of development results (e.g. 3D/2D CAD, FEA reports and ProMaP deliverables) according to internal standards
  6. Preparation of dimensioned drawings for components and assemblies considering GD&T
  7. Develop own professional skills ongoing according to the state of the technology

Qualifications:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or a comparable education
• You are experienced in CAD software (Catia or NX) to build and manage 3D models and technical drawings
• Your analytical thinking and creativity enable you to transfer a mechanical problem into a corresponding design
• With your willingness to learn, you constantly develop your skills according to state-of-the art technology
• As a team player with high engagement, you know how to communicate with your colleagues and customers in English language
