Job Summary
• This role is responsible for assisting in global labor relations strategy deployment, HR policy administration, and labor relations trends identification. The role supports training, development, compliance, and timely conflict resolution. The role collaborates with various stakeholders, including Country HR, HRBPs and legal, for case management and program changes within the labor relations function.

Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities in the European Markets and globally, as required on Labor Relations:

  • Supports the delivery of the globally aligned Labor Relations strategy and priorities globally, with a strong focus on the European markets.

  • Development and management of an internal landscape map, information and consultation, and rules of engagement (incl. timelines) covering key (repeat) programs.

  • Responsible for the management of the negotiation calendar.

  • Partners our clients, business and other key stakeholders across the markets in the enablement of: change programs, business flexibility, restructuring, OD&S activity, location strategy, transactions (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic outsourcing), driving a high-performance culture, etc.

  • Contributes to the development, delivery and implementation of the Labor Relations policies, programs, and governance models.

  • Provides support to other team members as it relates to the development of the strategy and negotiation proposals, meetings, examining agreements, building, and updating requirements.

  • Partners the Global Labor Relations Leader to drive effectiveness and efficiencies across the pillar i.e. build knowledge/capability, simplification, and IP capture.

  • Supports the management of the relationships with employee representative groups (works councils and unions), European Works Council, etc. in partnership with the Global Labor Relations Leader and Country LR and HR, as applicable, in line with the established LR Strategy and Plan.

  • Develops labor relations assessments and reporting, and contributes to ensuring disciplinary policies, procedures, practices, and documentation are kept up to date.

  • Advises and assists management staff with interpretation and application of personnel policies and procedures, legal and union agreements compliance, grievances, corrective actions, and terminations.

  • Predictive and pro-active management of the LR landscape i.e. Monitoring external LR landscape to assist our business navigate the environment and ensuring the on-going evolution of the Labor Relations pillar.

  • Develops training for leaders, human resources staff, and employees to ensure consistency and compliance with regulatory requirements and related policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for keeping abreast of all relevant internal policies, local labor laws and industry practices.

**Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Law, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in employee relations, HR compliance, labor relations, employment & labor law, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.

• Professional in Human Resources (PHR)/ Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR)
• Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
