The opportunity

As the Program Manager of Faculty Team Lead Training and Development for our Global Campus, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and deploying all new Faculty Team Leads to support Global Campus instruction. You will research and develop training and professional development opportunities, collaborating with Global Campus academic teams to support our Faculty Team Leads. This includes working cross-departmentally to determine needs and create appropriate programming and support to all Global Campus instructors across all disciplines and learning models. You'll report to the Director of Team Lead Operations.

What you'll do:

  • Coach and collaborate with Faculty Team Leads and Team Lead Facilitators to support and develop creative solutions to ensure our Faculty Team Leads and Faculty are successful in their roles
  • Hire and train existing Adjuncts Instructors as Faculty Team Leads.
  • Oversee process review and revision of new faculty team lead training.
  • Conduct team lead performance management calls with at risk Faculty Team Leads.
  • Process Improvement for scheduling Faculty Team Leads, accounting for complexities and accreditation models.
  • Research and develop opportunities for instructional innovation in our faculty-focused model, working directly with the academic team and implementing instructional design methodology.
  • Interpret and use data from several systems and dashboards to better understand the faculty experience, partnering with internal and external data teams.
  • Develop and implement Faculty Team Lead-facing surveys and analyze data to determine trends in perceived needs for development opportunities.
  • Use video editing, graphic design, and survey software and additional technical and multimedia tools to build within and outside of Learning Management Systems.

What we're looking for:

  • Master’s degree
  • 4+ years of online teaching experience at the college level.
  • 3+ years’ working knowledge with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Must have a combination of education and experience in instructional design, educational technology and systems, coaching, organizational leadership and related academic discipline.
  • Apply instructional design theories and principles to online learning.
