Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Finnish business operations and financial metrics, and a background in implementing software solutions from a business perspective? If your current role feels stagnant, with software that has transitioned into maintenance mode rather than rapid development, it’s time for a change. Join us as our Senior Business Analyst!

We are building a new generation service platform system that helps construction businesses become more profitable and predictable. Your role in more detail

The team

You will join our expert team of about 15 members, which includes both our product and development teams (collectively known as the product team). You will work closely with Jarmo, Sanni, Ohto and Linus, as well as a talented group of developers. Jarmo will be your direct supervisor, and we are planning to expand our product team further in the near future.

The role

Our technical environment is modern and agile, with a strong MVP culture and up-to-date tools. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Customer needs identification and documentation: Collaborate with key users and stakeholders to identify and document customer needs – about 40% of your time.

  2. Product feature design and development: Work internally with designers, POs, and others to map out the technical path and details for new features – another 40% of your time.

  3. Product development process monitoring and quality assurance: Support developers and ensure the quality of product development – about 20% of your time.

Essentially, your goal will be to act as the glue between customer experiences and product development. By understanding our key customers' needs, you will help deliver solutions that perfectly meet these needs**.**

Goals

We will measure the success of your role by two main aspects:

- Quality: The reception of the pilot versions by our key customers. If they give them a thumbs up, we will consider it a success. This ensures that the solutions we develop truly meet our customers' needs and maintain the high standards we strive for.

- Efficiency: The throughput time from identifying a need on the roadmap to releasing a pilot version. This is crucial because Fondion invests heavily in product development, and rapid cycle times are essential for maintaining momentum and delivering value quickly.

At Fondion, these metrics are vital because we aim to overhaul our product development process, involving key users more deeply through the BA role to elevate our efforts to the next level. The goal is to bridge any gaps in what the dev team can handle without compromising quality, bringing our innovative solutions swiftly and effectively to market.
