Deliver growth in high value Ipsen accounts through optimising the service and winning new patients by developing new users.

Responsibilities of the Key Account Manager.
- Continually differentiate Ipsen’s product and optimise patient care based on a strong, targeted value proposition specific for the HCO and HCP
- Excellent business analytics, planning skills and strategic thinking ensuring appropriate prioritization of opportunities aligning Ipsen priorities with those of NHS
- Excellent questioning/listening skills to understand current service to uncover potential opportunity to improve patient care/pathway
- Strong stakeholder engagement ability to develop HCP advocates to drive change of patient management/patient pathway within HCO
- Excellent leadership skills to bring internal and external stakeholders together driving matrix working to affect change bringing value to HCP/HCO while aligning NHS and Ipsen priorities
- Ability to build partner of choice relationships with customer/accounts by bringing value solutions to need, aligning appropriate internal and external stakeholders leveraging environment information/insights to Ipsen strategy
- Market leading selling skills to deliver tailored solutions to initiate new users, patients and optimize current usage.
- Dynamically access customers through face to face/virtual contact delivering market leading activity. Make effective use of available technologies and channels to support sales calls
- Drive customers exposure to Ipsen digital material ensuring breadth, depth and continuity of access and reach to HCPs
- Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in a specific therapeutic area and uses this to build professional customer relationships and support sound clinical discussions
- Proactive working with the cross functional matrix team to act swiftly and decisively on account developments
- Self-motivated. proactive, accountable problem solver driven to succeed
- Clear understanding of local NHS environment, priorities and drivers.
- Ensure adherence to ABPI code of practice/Ipsen standards
Knowledge, abilities & experience
Education / Certifications:
Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent
Abilities
- Is solution focused and innovative in order to overcome barriers and drive growth
- Works with energy and assertion to meet needs to HCP, patients and Ipsen
- Confident and competent in face to face and digital customer interactions
- Active listener to implement tailored solutions
Experience:
- Min 5 years pharmaceutical sales and or marketing experience
- Experience of working in Neuroscience in NHS or within a pharmaceutical role
- Proven Track record in leading multiple stakeholders and implementing change across an HCO
- Proven experience in demonstrating a solution and proactive approach to NHS challenge
