Job Description:

Contribute to Ipsen’s legacy by leading our real estate and facility management, shaping the spaces where healthcare advances as the VP, Real Estate and Facility Management. The purpose of this position is to develop and drive the Ipsen Real Estate Management strategy including our Footprint Transformation, Workplace strategy and New Ways of working evolution.

Main responsibilities / job expectations

• Developing the right approach for the right location, lease duration and structure as well as master agreement with professional brokers.
• Proactively working with Ipsen stakeholders (Commercial Operations, Corporate Finance and Procurement, Corporate HR, R&D Division, Technical Operations, to align Real Estate options with business initiatives. Anticipate Business needs and own Ipsen overall location strategy.
• Optimise Real Estate contract management, anticipating contract termination, renewal, optimizing cost, and liabilities. Keep up to date the Ipsen mapping of location, contract, space management and space optimisation.
• Develop and deploy the Facility Management Strategy including services enhancement, contract management, ensuring the environment and safety rules are applied consistently and in a rigorous manner.
• Lead the Real Estate and Facility Management network, defining the best organisation model for the size of Ipsen.
• Define and Drive Ipsen Workplace Management. Define norms for efficient space usage to increase utilisation. Redesign floors plans to improve seating, collaboration, employee services so it contributes to talent attraction and retention, employee satisfaction and achieve “Best Place to Work”.
• Develop a strong stakeholder management with key Senior Leaders of the company with efficient and clear communication.
• Develop standard dashboard and reporting framework to communicate to Senior Leaders, Function leaders and Head of sites, including KPI.
• Optimise Broker Relationship Management for the benefit of Ipsen.
• Act as a member of Global EHS, Real Estate and engineering, to provide input to the development, and delivery of Global Function strategy and goals, promoting cross-functional work, living with the Ipsen Ways of Being

Knowledge, abilities & experience

• Real Estate cursus. Engineering Diploma is a plus.

• 15 years of experience and specially working in an international and global environment with management of senior stakeholders

• Mastering English is a must, any other language is a plus

Key technical competencies required

• Expertise in Real Estate Management and Broker Management
• Ability to represent Ipsen at all levels of contacts both internally and externally, excellent interpersonal skills.
• High class verbal and written communication skills with well-structured communication ability and presentation skills to all types of audience
