The Junior Technical Product Manager role at Futurae, is a great opportunity if you have a background in Software or Solutions Engineering and want to step into a Product Manager role for the first time, or if you want to extend your previous Product Management knowledge. As a Junior Technical Product Manager, you will lead product development initiatives and will take ownership of one of our products. You will work closely with the Head of Product to define the roadmap and strategy. To develop our authentication, transaction confirmation and fraud prevention products and bring them to market, you collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Contribute to defining the product vision and strategy.
• Communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap both internally and externally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product priorities and objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to make informed product decisions.
• Develop business cases, product requirements, and go-to-market plans.
• Design our product features together with our designers, architects and engineers.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• Deep understanding of HTTP APIs, SDKs, cryptography, secure protocols, etc.
• 2+ years experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Engineer or Technical Support Engineer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field or equivalent practical experience; Masters, or advanced degree is a plus.
• Proven project management, coordination and communication capabilities. You make sure everyone is aligned and working towards a common goal.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with products with high degrees of interconnectedness (backend, frontend, mobile SDKs).
• Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) products in cybersecurity, fraud, or in complex on-premise B2E products.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Data Studio.
• Experience working in a startup or scaleup.
• Understanding of core banking, payments, identity & access management, digital wallets.
