Dematic is looking for a Head of EHS France & EHS CS EMEA, to be hired with a permanent contract, for its premises in Bussy Saint Georges (Paris). Reporting to the EHS Director EMEA, the Local EHS Manager has to ensure (Environmental, Health and Safety) policies and plans in compliance with the legislation, in order to achieve continual improvements in accordance with the Corporate KPI.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Your challenge:
- Ensure EHS compliance for the Company like as Risk Assessment (general and specific), definition of the training needs and process, deliver internal training courses, definition of the standard PPEs and the related training/needs, auditing the environmental aspect (waste management, energy measurement, emergency management)
- Act as EHS business partner for the Dematic Customer Service EMEA Organization
- Ensure the cascading of the corporate standards into the French and Customer Service Organization EMEA.
- Communication and interaction with officials, authorities and works council
- Manage all the activities required to reach the corporate OKRs and KPIs
- Promote a global safety culture in EHS
- Manage and carry out EHS specific audit at our customer plants/premises and suppliers and construction sites.
- Manage the French EHS team and lead them to reach the goals assigned
- Lead and maintain ISO 45001 and 14001 certification for Dematic France.
Who are we looking for?
A candidate with the following features:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a Safety, Health or Environmental role, preferably in or for a multinational company
- A previous role as EHS Manager
- Ambitious to motivate employees and to develop EHS team skills to excellence
- Strong experience in conducting EHS audits and in the risk assessment process
- Qualification to cover the role of EHS responsible and safety trainer
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent (e.g. bac+5)
- Excellent knowledge of English and French, both written and spoken
- Experience with engineering company, project management or construction sites
- Strong orientation to reach the targets, initiative, autonomy and propensity to work in team
- Strong communication and situational leadership skills
