Head of Engineering

Track24 Limited is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our team of talented engineers in building and scaling our location intelligence software, AtlasNXT. As the Head of Engineering, you will play a crucial role alongside our CPTO and Head of Product in shaping the future of AtlasNXT and iterating against our development strategy.

AtlasNXT is a cutting-edge safeguarding and communications SaaS platform that is designed to revolutionise the way organisations protect, inform, and engage their teams. Built using Elixir, AtlasNXT offers a scalable and innovative solution for organisations worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Define and drive the engineering roadmap and strategic vision for AtlasNXT
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Ensure the engineering team follows best practices, coding standards, and agile methodologies
• Oversee the software development process, from design and development to deployment and maintenance
• Identify and address technical risks and challenges, and propose creative solutions
• Work with the Head of Product and CPTO to plan sprints, ensure milestones are being achieved and compliance documentation is kept up to date

Requirements

• Proven experience in a leadership role, managing a team of software engineers within a scaling business (pre-series A)
• Experience with Elixir
• Experience working with different DevOps Technologies and Principles
• Deep understanding of modern software engineering principles, systems architecture, and cloud technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience in the SaaS industry is preferred (working with a newly launched product)
• Experience working within an ISO27001 certified team is beneficial
