The HR Business Partner :
- is responsible for solving local organisational challenges through people-related solutions that support Alcon’s mission: “to help people see brilliantly”.
- Delivers annual people processes; has in-depth knowledge of local talent and provides coaching to managers to help them accelerate talent readiness.
- Brings a deep understanding of local business needs.
- Contributes an HR point of view into business issues and supports diagnostic interventions to deliver local solutions.
- Collaborates on a regular basis with HR COEs and HR Services on design and execution of solutions and service delivery to clients. Implements strategic initiatives and other enterprise-wide initiatives and HR programs to support Alcon associates, including compensation, performance, employee relations and engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
In partnership with people leaders:
- Aligns with the Talent & Culture Partner to execute enterprise level initiatives.
- Delivers Alcon’s core HR services and people processes (e.g. Talent Review, Reward and Performance Management), and ensures an optimal associate experience
- Drives business success by coaching and advising teams on associate experience initiatives, such as Associate Experience Dashboard, Recognition programs, etc.
- Ensures timely execution of all people-related processes
- Implements global, regional or local HR programs
- Coaches business leaders and associates on all HR-related topics (e.g. change management, talent management, employee relations, career development, etc.)
- Accountable for driving high-quality, diverse local talent bench, through selection process, equitable compensation practices and adequate talent development
- Support diagnostic intervention and problem resolution strategies to contribute HR point of view to business issues
- Utilise workforce analytics and insights to improve people and workforce management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or related fields
Work Experience:
- minimum 5+ experience in similar Human Resources Business Partnering roles from a multi-national company
- familiar with working with matrix organization, COE centers and off-shore HR Help centers
- Good communication, change management, organizational review, employee relations, coaching and workshop facilitation skills
- Implementation of global HR programs in ANZ
- Strong facilitation skills, agility and resilience to change.
- Certification in DISC profiling, Discovery Insights is preferred
